Returns, Exchange and Refund Policy

    Before you return a product ordered at The Spring Story online store, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional artisans in rural India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other. 

    Do not mistake an irregular weave/print/stitch/craftsmanship as a defect or a damage. Handmade craftsmanship by definition implies glorious uncertainties when it comes to uniformity and irregularity which are its hallmark and USP.

    Despite these variables, The Spring Story stands behind the quality of our product and we offer returns/cancellations and exchanges in the following cases.

      • Product received is damaged/defective

      • Package not received by customer due to visible package damage.

      • Product received is different from store description.

      • For any other reasons, please write to us at support@thespringstory.com OR call us at 1800-8899-077

    TO REQUEST CANCELLATION, RETURN OR EXCHANGE
      • Write to Customer Care at support@thespringstory.com with order number and reason for cancellation within 10 days of item receipt.

      • Please mention the Order Number in the subject for faster processing of the Cancellation/Return/Exchange

      • Please provide supporting images/photos.

      • Email should be sent from same email-id as the one supplied at order checkout.

      • Please ensure that all the returned item(s) are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.

      • The item(s) for reverse pick up will be picked up within 7 business days from the date of request.

      • After the receipt of item(s), your request for returns/exchanges would be processed.

      • In the case of exchanges, your new order will be dispatched to you within 3-5 business days after we receive the earlier shipment.

      • Some of the pin codes are not feasible for reverse pick up, in such cases the customer will need to return the item(s) back to us. The reverse shipping address will remain the same as per the original invoice.

      • If customer has self-shipped the item(s) back to The Spring Story and the package is lost in transit, no refund will be applicable.

      REFUND POLICY

      In the case of refund, for any reason, we will refund in your original mode of payment of the value of the merchandise. Shipping fees and gift services (if any) are non-refundable.
